Art Workshops in Northamptonshire & Oxfordshire
I am delighted to now be offering art workshops! Having been successfully running Abstract Workshops in Northampton with Lumina Arts Alliance (read more here), I am excited to have the opportunity to bring these closer to home, offering more options to learn and create with me!
Whether you want to learn mixed media techniques or develop realistic coloured pencil skills, my bespoke approach is always tailored to your objectives, skill set and passions.
I offer group workshops, individual tuition (for adults and children) as well as a corporate package which is ideal for a fun, affordable team building event.

Group Workshops
After successfully running Group Workshops workshops for Lumina Arts Alliance in Northampton throughout 2025 to an enthusiastic response and fantastic feedback, I'm excited to to bring them closer to home.
"Abstract Expressions" is the first group workshop I am offering. An exciting, fun 2-hour introduction to abstract painting and mixed media techniques, this workshop covers key concepts including colour and design, together with plenty of opportunity for hands on practical application. You will leave this course with 6 mini abstracts that you will be truly proud of, as well as the confidence and inspiration to take the next steps in your painting journey.

Corporate Events
A well-designed, well-run and carefully considered art workshop could be the perfect centrepiece for your next corporate team building activity.
With over 20 years of corporate experience in senior management positions, I have managed teams of all shapes and sizes and experienced lots of team building activities first hand... the good, the bad and the ugly!
This gives me a unique insight into team dynamics and what works well in a team building setting. I am also aware of the importance of designing and aligning the workshop to achieve your team building objectives for the day, as well as ensuring that the event reflects your organisational vision and values.
All corporate packages include a first, no obligation meeting to discuss the team, the organisation and your objectives for the day. This ensures that the package is right for you before you commit then, with your input and feedback, I will design a fun, bespoke session to inspire and invigorate your team.

Individual Tuition
I offer individual tuition in my professional, light filled art studio in Middleton Cheney for both adults and children. Upon request, I may also be able to travel to you, if needed.
Adult Tuition:
From one-off sessions to build confidence or problem solve a specific piece, to a series of lessons to cover an area of interest and create one (or more) artworks, ALL of my lessons are designed for you and with you.
It all starts with a no obligation discussion to establish where you are in your art journey and what you want to achieve next. From there I will design a bespoke proposal / lesson plan, to ensure we are covering exactly what you want to learn.
Topics that could be covered include: realistic drawing, coloured pencil techniques, mixed media techniques, collage, acrylic painting and more. I'm interested to hear your ideas and requirements and take it from there!
Child Tuition:
From one off sessions to have fun, build fine motor skills and improve confidence, to regular tuition to learn more about art, expand techniques and try new techniques and materials.
It all starts with a face to face short, FREE taster session where I can have a chat to you and your child while we make some art. This session will be designed to find out what they find fun and engaging, as well as to make sure we hit it off! From there, I will suggest next steps and a loose lesson plan to best suit your child.
While your child has their session(s) you are welcome to join them in the studio, or sit in my comfortable kitchen (where you can still observe them at work in the studio) and let them get on with it!
