I am delighted to confirm that my first exhibition of 2025 will be the Northants & Rutland Open Studios Spring Open at the delightful venue of Lamport Hall in Northamptonshire.

This wonderful exhibition is set usher in the Spring 2025 early, showcasing a diverse array of high-quality contemporary art from both emerging and established artists in the region. This anticipated exhibition will include a wide range of diverse styles and practices including painting, print, textiles, sculpture, and new media. The exhibition aims to inspire and encourage new artists and visitors alike to participate in the largest visual arts festival in the county in September 2025.

My Exhibition Plans

The Spring Open exhibition format offers me a wonderful opportunity to showcase both the abstract and wildlife side of my practice. From my abstract portfolio there will be the first opportunity to see two pieces, Love and Peace, from my latest collection "Gentle Reminders". On the wildlife side of my practice, I will be exhibiting vibrant coloured pencil Kingfisher study, completed in late 2024.

I will also have mounted browser prints available, including my Limited Edition Seasons Collection prints and various wildlife designs.

About the Exhibition: The Spring Open at Lamport Hall

The Spring Open exhibition is spread over two weekends, on the 8th & 9th and 15th & 16th of February, welcoming art enthusiasts from 10am to 4pm on both days.

All showcased artwork will be available for purchase, providing a wonderful chance to add a new piece to your collection or acquire your very first piece of original art. There will also be the opportunity to meet the talented artists over the course of the weekends to find out about their work. I plan to be at the exhibition at various points, so if you are planning a visit do let me know (hello@louisebrookcreative.com), as I would love to see you there!

The exhibition coincides with the annual Snowdrop Walk at Lamport Hall, adding to the allure of the event. The grounds of the Hall will be open to the public over both weekends and visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty of snowdrop covered landscapes while exploring the tranquil gardens surrounding this Grade I listed country house.

Entrance to the exhibition is free, and there is a small charge for the snowdrop walk.
