An interactive, hands-on introduction to abstract techniques.
In this fun 2-hour workshop using acrylic and mixed media, I will guide you through a process of layering and mark making to create a cohesive collection of 6 mini abstracts. Be amazed at what you create and have a lot of fun in the process!
The workshop covers key creative concepts in an engaging and informative way, including:
- Colour Theory
- Colour & Emotions
- Design Principles
There is lots of opportunity to experiment using a range of professional (and sometimes surprising!) tools and materials, all of which are all provided. Throughout the workshop I will provide both individual and group tuition, guiding you through every stage of the process to create a set of 6, cohesive mini abstracts, which you can take home and be proud of.
This effective blend of creative concepts and practical application is designed to deliver a cohesive collection of abstract minis which will delight and surprise you, but also: confidence, trust in the process and a method to discover and develop your own creative style.
